How do scales work
The size of a model car or model motorcycle is usually expressed in scale. This scale indicates how large the model is compared to the original. For example, when 1:43 is mentioned at a model, then every 43 cm from the original, is 1 cm in miniature. If you have an indication of the lenght of the original, then you can calculate the size of the model; divide the length of the original, by the scale.
Example: The orginal has a lenght of 4,2 meters
SCALE 1:12 >> LENGHT MODEL IS 35,8 CM |

SCALE 1:18 >> LENGHT MODEL IS 23,3 CM |

SCALE 1:24 >> LENGHT MODEL IS 17,5 CM |

SCALE 1:32 >> LENGHT MODEL IS 13,1 CM |

SCALE 1:43 >> LENGHT MODEL IS 9,8 CM |

Caution!! Models may vary slightly compared to the original!!
